About the Role: We are looking for a Sales & Marketing Champion to join our Fabrics Business Exploration team. The Fabrics Business Exploration Team is a flexible team of Associates across functions dedicated to exploring, validating, and scaling new business venture opportunities. The successful candidate will not only be an integral part of an early-stage venture piloting GORE-TEX Outerwear on Demand , but also provide sales and marketing consultation & support to broader Explore Team portfolio projects at different stages of the concept development funnel. In this role, traditional sales and marketing skillsets will be used in early-stage innovation efforts to do the following; develop sales & marketing strategies, drive clarity in the definition of target markets, and execute plans to understand & test critical uncertainties, develop customer relationships and provide sales & marketing leadership support to new customers and collaborate with their sales & marketing peers and Explore Team members to multiply the team’s capabilities.

This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations within the Unted States.*

  • Partner with new venture core team and Explore project teams to help establish sales & marketing strategies aligned with growth goals and drive execution of those strategies through partners
  • Provide strategic account management, sales operations support, and develop customer account strategy for multiple potential customers. Support our growing set of customers and be a face of Gore @ our customers
  • Identify market opportunities through customer discovery, market segmentation, & value assessment
  • Manage multiple external agencies through clarity of proposals, deliverables, timelines, & performance metrics
  • Facilitate the creation of appropriate marketing content for training of partners/teams and in-market communication

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in complex sales or product management, with specific experience in innovation & bringing new products &/or services to market
  • Minimum of 5 years sales account management, managing multiple accounts, with proven track record developing new external relationships, running key account sales & executing through partners
  • Experience in B2B or B2C sales and marketing
  • Bring a balance of big picture thinking with a bias towards action
  • Demonstrated strengths in verbal and written communication
  • Entrepreneurial mindset - excitement to build something from the ground up and ability to deliver objectives in a dynamic team environment under high levels of uncertainty
  • Ability to navigate and successfully operate in an international matrix organization and dynamic team structure.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% [domestic & international]

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in front-end of innovation and application of Lean Innovation principles/process
  • Snowsports resort/retail/rental or outdoor industry experience
