The Division of Enrollment Management is a key campus thought partner that provides collaborative leadership in university-wide efforts, utilizing systematic, innovative, and synergistic approaches to leverage a data-informed enrollment strategy to improve market distinctiveness, and execute the campus strategic plan. The division comprises the offices of Enrollment Management, Financial Aid & Scholarships, University Registrar, and Undergraduate Admissions. The mission of the University Registrar is to provide academic support services in an atmosphere of prompt, accurate, and friendly service to the campus community through practices consistent with the mission and values of the university. The Office is responsible for maintaining student records, issuing reports of grades, and distributing official publications.
Under the general supervision of the Deputy Registrar, manage the quarterly production of the Schedule of Classes (SOC). Independently implement the process, including communication with department schedulers and use of scheduling applications (eSOC and 25Live). Create timeline for the development of each term’s schedule. Resolve room conflicts for General Assignment Classrooms (GACs). Ensure course entries in eSOC match course as approved by the Academic Senate’s Subcommittee on Courses. Act as the backup for summer scheduling. Based on utilization rate, classroom availability, number of courses offered and other factors, make recommendations on changes in scheduling priority to the Deputy Registrar. Train staff and faculty in eSOC and 25Live. Develop and maintain eSOC instructions. Perform scheduling and classroom use research and investigate new scheduling software.

One (1) to three (3) years of related experience or equivalent training.
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Ability to develop and present training sessions across multiple platforms and delivery methods. Ability to analyze policies and procedures and make recommendations for change. Ability to monitor administrative systems and find and implement solutions to issues that arise. Skill to organize, prioritize, and coordinate a number of projects simultaneously in an environment of frequent interruptions and distractions. Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments. Skill to interact diplomatically and maintain fairness. Ability to revolve an issue with a large number of parts that are affected by a number of independent variables. Ability to work with attention to accuracy and detail. Knowledge of common University-specific computer application programs, including MS Word, MS Excel, databases, e-mail, and web browsing software. Interpersonal skills to work with department senior management, faculty, and students and communicate complicated information orally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with university personnel.
Knowledge of department, organization, and University policies, procedures, and directives. Working knowledge of a Registrar’s student information system and/or 25Live or similar scheduling software.
