Job description

The Procurement Data Analyst will be part of the Stock Replenishment team in this new and exciting role responsible for collecting and interpreting data from multiple sources. This position will be responsible for creating cost saving inventory management and replenishment model under the guidance of procurement manager. This role liaises between the Procurement team and IT department.
Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with internal clients including sales, finance, IT and procurement teams to understand inventory requirements, goals, and objectives
  • Collect and interpret data from multiple sources and ERP system (data about new and existing orders, inventory forecast, sales margin and turnover rate, purchasing budget, order capture rate) to identify key trends and factors
  • Conduct data analysis and develop a solid inventory forecast model that enables strategic procurement automation
  • Create, Implement, and distribute stock sales and procurement report
  • Work with procurement team/sales team to identify and propose potential procurement opportunities for aviation materials
  • Establish and maintain sound professional relationships with suppliers.
  • Communicate, negotiate, and place order with suppliers whenever necessary

Additional responsibilities:

  • Understand company core business of aircraft parts and materials trading
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS minimum required, preferably in data analysis or related field
  • Professional level of data analysis skill utilizing Microsoft Excel
  • Relevant experience in business intelligence, research, data analytics, or a related field; procurement and spend analytics experience a plus
  • Familiarity with ERP systems – Inventory Management, Purchasing or Sales,
  • Strong ability to multi-task
  • Organized, attentive to detail, able to produce consistently high-quality work
  • Team player with good judgment, tact, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Good business acumen and common sense
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal) and able to work effectively with cross-regional teams in a multi-cultural environment
  • Ability to work overtime, sometimes on short notice

Physical Demands: Ability to lift 10 lbs.

Working Conditions: This position works in an office environment.

Travel: Very minimal travel may be required, less than 5%

Language: Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
