At Amazon Worldwide Returns & ReCommerce (WW R&R), we aspire to zero: zero cost of returns, zero waste, and zero defects.

We are an agile, innovative organization dedicated to ‘making zero happen’ to benefit our customers, company, and environment. We are constantly innovating to create long-term value at Amazon by investing in the future and focusing on the planet, not just on the bottom line. WW R&R includes business, product, program, operational, data, and software engineering teams, who together manage the lifecycle of returned and damaged products.

The successful candidate will be part of the Returns & ReCommerce Transportation team responsible for coordinating and leading transportation related requirements during the customer return process. This role combines familiarity with customer service tools with understanding of physical and virtual customer return processes. It requires a candidate with a proven track record to deep dive and root cause, to influence stakeholders in a diverse environment, and ability to communicate with stakeholders on multiple levels.

This Transportation Specialist will be responsible for trailer and coordination of customer experience requirements and in some cases, delivery of a formal report out to R&R leadership. As an owner of this process, the candidate will consistently capture key data points gathered during investigation to generate metrics and will drive continuous improvement initiatives within the return transportation process. They will work with stakeholders across the R&R organization to identify root causes, meet SLAs to resolve investigations, and submit changes to business teams as needed to drive a better customer experience. They will leverage the captured data to promote policy changes and to provide formal deep dives into key areas of opportunity.
