Job description

DodiHome is hiring a Logistics Assistant to ensure successful coordination and delivery of kitchen cabinet orders. Also, time-permitting the Logistics Assistant will support contractors and homeowners with design and customer advocacy. DodiHome is a Bay Area startup that locally manufacturers custom kitchen cabinets in a little as two weeks. Our web app, integrated with our local manufacturing, helps design, price, order, and manufacture cabinets with tracking throughout the process.

Reporting to the CEO, the Logistics Assistant plays a crucial role making sure all elements of a contractor or homeowner order are correctly delivered on time without damage. Meeting or exceeding customer expectations is critical for contractor loyalty and overall customer satisfaction. Since DodiHome is a startup, we are looking for an energetic and flexible candidate. You will need to support duties beyond Logistics.


  • Work with the CEO and sales to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Proactively engage with vendors to resolve issues
  • Price and source materials
  • Engage with customers and prospects via phone, email, and in-person
  • Meet, greet, and service customers at the Dodi showrooms in Sunol and Fremont
  • Speak with authority about the Dodi solution
  • Create designs in the Dodi web app
  • Occasional site visits with contractors to confirm measurements
  • Check-in with contractors and homeowners to ensure success
  • Act as a liaison to communicate and resolve urgent customer issues.
  • Capture contractor or homeowner success stories when possible
  • Update and manage customer account records in the Dodi CRM, including order status, signed agreements, and contact information
  • Follow-through on tasks in a timely manner and show your innovative side by identifying areas for process improvement and optimization
  • Perform other assigned activities to achieve team and company goals.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Obsessed with operations and all the associated details
  • Execution and customer focused
  • Very comfortable with spreadsheets and a great communicator
  • Design and knowledge of the construction industry is a plus
  • Good computer and design software skills a plus
  • Not afraid to take initiative, dive in, and solve problems as they come up
  • Comfortable pivoting to deal with new priorities or customer escalations
  • You should enjoy working with a team and push for change when needed

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $25.00 per hour

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
