WHO’S IN THE KITCHEN

Blue Apron is hiring an experienced Logistics Analyst to join our rapidly growing Operations team. In addition to supporting the daily and weekly activities within our fulfillment centers (FCs), you'll build, and implement tools and systems to improve our delivery infrastructure and performance. You will be charged with transforming Blue Apron’s logistics operations, working hand-in-hand with other members of our operations team and fulfillment centers.

WHAT'S ON THE MENU

  • Deliver weekly logistics forecasts to our carriers, ensuring availability of equipment to support on-time delivery (OTD) when you physically book the equipment required for that week
  • Support the fulfillment centers (FCs) with issues, changes in plans, carrier constraints, etc.
  • Create and refine technical systems to support ongoing and ad hoc logistics operations, both within existing processes but also building from scratch when needed
  • Develop and execute complex analysis to support strategic initiatives focused on increasing logistics efficiencies and improving the Blue Apron customer experience
  • Collaborate with Operations & Fulfillment teams to identify, prioritize, and execute new initiatives and projects in a dynamic, iterative environment
  • Proactively identify and communicate key insights to senior audience

NECESSARY INGREDIENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative subject (e.g., economics, science, or engineering)
  • Experience in an analytical role
  • Exceptional analytical skills required; proficiency with Excel / SQL preferred
  • Prior experience with visualization / BI tools (e.g., Big Query, Tableau, etc.) a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment and learn by doing
  • Superior analytical, planning, and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $76,000.00 per year
