Job description

LHH Recruitment Solution is looking for a Jr. Project Accountant in City of Industry. This opportunity is paying up to $58,000. In this role, this individual will be assisting with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable duties. We are looking for fresh graduates learning to grow and expand their accounting career.

Job Duties:

• Review and process all invoices and ensure proper authorization is provided

• Handle invoices/payments regarding mileage/travel, credit card charges, utilities, subcontractors, consultants, reimbursements and advances

• Communicate with vendors, employees, and directors through phone and email regularly by providing them updates on project

• Prepare billings and documentation for monthly reports and invoices to ensure compliance with applicable law is met

• Generate monthly reconciliation of runs to collect outstanding funds

• Develop monthly expenditure reports for each assigned projects

• Prepare adjusting entries to the accounting systems

• Review availability of funds for new hires, status changes, and extensions

• Perform additional tasks assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (four year college) in Accounting or Finance required and one year experience in an accounting department preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and analyzing trends.

• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, IFstatements), Microsoft Word, Outlook Express. Proficiency required in Oracle (Fusion)
