Health Care Consulting, Data and Project Manager

Seattle-based health care consulting firm specializing in market intelligence, strategy and policy seeks Project Manager with exceptionally strong database and analytic skills. The Project Manager will be responsible for creating, updating and managing a number of large databases, generating and analyzing demographic, utilization and financial data and producing strategic reports, in addition to providing custom reports and analytic and decision support for the entire firm. The position also includes full project management of select strategic, business planning, certificate of need, community health needs assessment, and regulatory projects.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in health care planning or administration, public health, policy, social work, or MBA, preferred.
  • Knowledge of Washington health care market highly desirable.
  • At least 2 years of demonstrated experience and proficiency with databases and analytic software and data analysis and reporting tools including Excel, PostgreSQL, Tableau, etc. required.
  • Will also be involved in the design and implementation of independent public opinion surveys (3-4 times per year).
  • Proven ability to manage healthcare data from conceptualization through presentation, strong analytical, writing/presentation, and research skills including the ability to create reports and communicate data findings to a variety of audiences in visually and easily understood ways.
  • Familiarity with healthcare datasets (CHARS, Medicare Cost Reports, IBM Watson, BRFSS) is preferred.
  • Proven consulting/project management/coordination abilities.
  • Creative and strategic/critical thinker.
  • Enjoys variety, fast pace, and works well with multiple and rapidly changing deadlines and priorities.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage, and execute multiple tasks and projects effectively under pressure.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented with acute awareness of deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask. On any given day, you could “touch” 15 to 20 different projects).
  • Strong interpersonal and exceptional customer service skills. Finally, you will have every opportunity – and be expected – to identify and implement improvements in methods and systems, as well as the services we provide.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,979.00 - $148,135.00 per year
