Performs clerical duties, order and data entry utilizing multiple computer systems. Effectively communicate and facilitate all departmental orders and results to ED staff. Serves as front-line departmental ambassador in customer service. Maintain a professional demeanor with internal and external personnel. Work in conjunction with the ED team in order to expedite patient care and throughput and provide excellent quality care in a family oriented hospital setting.


Degrees: High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper Licenses & Certifications: Basic Life Support Additional Qualifications: Previous experience as a Unit Secretary/Adm Partner desired. Must type a minimum of 25 wpm and pass the filing test with a score of 90%, Completion of a medical terminology course or previous experience in admitting/emergency or physician office (preferred). Strong verbal and written communication skills ; skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution ; peer respect ; critical thinking skills ; self-motivated ; customer service skills and/or orientation. Exhibits flexibility in scheduling to adapt to special circumstances and ability to multitask. Minimum Required Experience: None
