Summary of Position: The Dishwasher at Crooked Hammock is responsible for washing & cleaning tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment. This person will execute daily maintenance and deep cleaning of facilities, focused on keeping the dish-room & equipment clean and organized. Must Enjoy the Ride! This position is located at our North Myrtle Beach , South Carolina location. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Opening and midday maintenance of facilities including cleaning & stocking all restrooms, sweeping & mopping floors, and maintaining clean outdoor areas
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Load, run and unload dish machine.
• Set-up three bay sink with detergent, rinse, and sanitizer.
• Stock all necessary cleaning products.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
• Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware is appropriate location.
• Maintain all dish and food service equipment storage areas.
• Keep dish washing area clean and organized.
• Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen.
• Bag and haul dish-room trash to dumpster at designated times.
• Assist with trash removal from other kitchen and FOH areas.
• Assist with food prep when needed.
• Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
• Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies in all areas.
• Clean food preparation and production areas as required.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor
• Clock in and out at scheduled time. Make Management aware of any deviation from schedule

Qualifications:

• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 6 hours).
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to read and comprehend labels on chemicals
