About This Role
The Production Associate is motivated, reliable, honest, hardworking, and takes pride in the quality of their work. The packaging associate will be responsible for crafting quality THC infused edibles, maintaining equipment, packaging product and adhering to all California State Regulations
Basic Qualifications
Minimum age of 21 years
Able to stand for 8 plus hours
Able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
Able to accurately calculate THC content formulations.
Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
Strong attention to detail; able to consistently follow directions, standards and recipes
Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices
Strong decision-making skills
Able to work in an environment that may contain strong odors
Prior food preparation experience (Preferred) Required
Minimum age of 21 years
2-4 years of clerical experience and/or 1 year of Inventory experience
Outstanding organizational skills
Attention to detail.
Able to work 40 hours a week
Must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Excel, Word, Google Interface
Must have reliable transportation and be available to travel to various locations if needed
Preferred Qualifications
Some college
Cooking Experience
METRC Experience
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Proper labeling of batches/units, packages, boxes, etc to ensures accuracy and state requirements are met
Employees must adhere to all operational standards and guidelines, including food quality and safety, individual and team safety, as well as cleanliness and sanitation.
Must follow previously established SOP’s for cooking all products manufactured in the kitchen.
Assemble, maintain, clean and store cooking equipment for daily business
Package, label and organize cannabis edibles for distribution
Work alongside fellow kitchen crew to meet daily goals
Label everything according to the batch ticket assigned
Daily reporting of waste/spoilage/theft.
Record Keeping - Digitally & Physically
Must adhere to all Company policies and procedures
Keep assigned areas clean
Various office tasks.
Flexibility in an ever-changing regulatory landscape.
Ongoing education and training from multiple State entities.

Work Environment
Work under stressful conditions, as well as irregular hours, may be required. Exposure to toxic substances and other conditions common to cannabis production, cultivation may be routinely encountered.
Employee works in a production environment at Valhalla and must be capable of adhering to full Personal Protective Equipment guidelines per OSHA and SFPHD requirements, to maintain a safe and sterile environment (i.e. hair net, face mask, gloves, lab coat, foot booties, etc.)
